For Parents & Guardians

Your child, supported.

When your child joins the Youth Mentorship Program, you're part of it too. Here's how it works and how you stay involved.

How the program works

Your child is matched with a dedicated mentor for regular one-on-one sessions. They set goals together and track progress over time. As a parent or guardian, you can see your child's approved information; their goals, their mentor, and upcoming meetings all in one private dashboard.

Your Role & Access

What you can see and do.

See your child’s progress

View your child’s goals, progress, and upcoming meetings  the information approved for you to see.

Stay informed

Know when your child has meetings and what their mentor is working on with them.

Private by design

You only see your own child’s information  never another student’s.

Consent comes first

You complete a short consent step before any access is granted. You’re always in control.

How Consent Works

Consent, clearly.

Before your child's information is shared with you, you'll complete a short consent step confirming you agree to their participation in the program. This keeps your child safe and keeps you in the loop. You can update your consent anytime through your dashboard.

Have questions before signing up? Contact the program and we'll walk you through it.

Your child's safety is the priority.

Mentors are caring volunteers, that go through a meticulous background check, and training. They are not licensed professionals. All profiles are private, and parents only ever see their own child's information.

Privacy First

Mentee profiles are never public. Role-based permissions protect every student and parents can only see their own child's profile.

Important: FAMD mentors are not licensed medical professionals, therapists, or attorneys. Mentorship is support-based only. As a mandated reporter program, suspected abuse or harm will be reported to appropriate authorities.
